GreenCrab.org is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that develops culinary markets for invasive green crabs and provides free resources. We partner with harvesters, wholesalers, chefs, and community members to get green crabs out of coastal waters and onto plates.

Cooking With Green Crabs
Chef Youji Iwakura, Ernie Campbell, and Andrew McQuesten cooked green crabs with us at the beach, giving away free samples while hosting interactive demos with Eating with the Ecosystem. Check out their recipes here:

In April 2022, we worked with the Maine State Chamber of Commerce and Khmer Maine to distribute free green crabs.
Green Crabs at the Beach
Throughout summer 2021, we hosted interactive pop-ups with green crab art and coloring books through Save the Harbor/ Save the Bay’s Better Beaches Grant.
